FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
- Does getting hit with a paintball hurt?
This is a common question, and the answer depends on several factors such as clothing, distance, and marker speed. Many players describe it as feeling like a rubber band snap. Our field chronographs all markers to operate under 280 feet per second, and trained referees supervise games to ensure safety and minimize close-range shots. - Does the paint stain?
The paintballs we use generally do not stain clothing, but some fabrics may be more challenging to clean. We recommend washing clothes immediately after playing. It's best to wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty. - When can we play?
Our field is open on Saturdays from 9 AM to 4 PM. Always check our Facebook page for updates. Groups of 20 or more can schedule sessions on other days with at least one week's notice to ensure proper staffing. - How old do you need to be to play?
Players must be at least 10 years old to participate. Those under 18 must have a parent or guardian's signature, along with their own, on the liability waiver. - Can paintball be dangerous?
Paintball can be risky, but injuries mainly occur in unsupervised settings. We enforce strict safety protocols, including mandatory safety briefings, referee supervision, barrel blocking sleeves, and safety masks/goggles. Rule violations result in warnings, with repeated offenses leading to expulsion. - What should I wear?
Camouflage clothing is ideal, but any durable outdoor clothing will work. Wear long pants and long sleeves to protect yourself while playing in wooded terrain. Comfortable closed-toe footwear is a must, as our field features a variety of surfaces including grass, dirt, and creeks. Please wear clothing you don't mind staining or tearing, as it does happen on occasion. - How long does each game last?
Games typically last between 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the game type and number of players. Our goal is to maximize playtime while allowing for breaks as needed. - What type of paintball markers are available for rent?
We rent Tippmann 98 Custom markers, known for their reliability and ease of use. We offer upgraded markers for rental so you can up your game! - Should I buy a paintball marker before I play?
We recommend renting first to experience the game before purchasing. If you plan to play frequently, investing in your own paintball mask is a good idea for hygiene purposes. - How many paintballs will I need?
Usage varies by play style. Some players use 100 paintballs in a session, while others go through 500 or more. On average, players use about 500 to 1000 paintballs per half-day session. - What needs to be done before we can play?
All players must complete a liability waiver before playing. Players under 18 require a parent or guardian's signature. Markers must pass chronograph checks to comply with the 280 fps speed limit. There is a mandatory safety briefing. - Do you offer private group bookings?
Yes, private groups of 20 or more must make reservations at least one week in advance. - Can I walk on and play?
Yes, walk-on games are available every weekend unless stated otherwise. Players are grouped into balanced teams. - Are you open during the week?
We are open on Saturdays and Sundays. However, we can accommodate weekday games for groups of 20 or more with at least one week's notice. Contact us for availability at (828)-495-4155.
